words and music by george harrison

jay wasco- solo  egotar and vocal

recorded at the cottage in easton ct

summer 2002

something is my mom's favorite songs.  i heard frank sinatra said this is one of the best or as good as any love song ever written. i've always thought the world of  this song and its effortless movement in and out of different keys.  it's also special to me because it's the first thing i ever learned how to play on piano.  it's a great tune for egotar because the top notes in the chord changes just kind of hang out while the bass keeps the gravity and does this kind of descending. hope you dig my version here --
